Description

The Cranwick Ikat is a portable, rechargeable table lamp that runs on a built-in battery, so it needs no cable to the wall once charged. It has a reeded stem on a square base and a 16cm Ikat clip-on shade in digitally printed faux silk. The lamp stands 414mm tall with a 160mm shade and weighs 0.9kg. A 1.5W integrated LED gives a warm white 2700K light, controlled by a 3-stage touch dimmer with settings of 40, 80 and 155 lumens.

Being cordless, the Cranwick moves easily around the home, from a bedside or shelf to a hallway, dining table or windowsill. A full charge takes about 5.5 hours and gives up to 36 hours of light, so it lasts well between top-ups. Tap once for a low glow, then again to step up to medium and brighter, which makes it handy for dinner, reading or a soft night-time light in places where a socket is not close by.

The stem is finished in brushed aged brass, and the Ikat shade comes in colourways including coral pink, pearl grey, marlin blue, yellow and jade, and natural. It charges over a supplied USB-C to USB-A cable, and the rechargeable battery (3.7V, 3600mA) is included. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use. Dust the fabric shade with a soft dry brush and wipe the base with a soft cloth, keeping damp away from both. A matching Leaf shade version of the Cranwick is also available in the range. Being cordless, it is also easy to carry from room to room as the evening moves around the home.
