Description
This wall light brings together a solid stone backplate and a warm brass arm, with a minimalist clear glass shade that shows the glow of the bulb inside. The backplate is offered in white Volakas marble, natural travertine or dark brown Emperador marble, so each option has its own veining and character. The vintage brass arm carries the shade out from the wall for a sculptural, upright look. It measures 260mm tall and 142mm wide, with a 190mm projection, takes a single E14 bulb rated up to 6W, and weighs 1.3kg.
The mix of stone and brass gives the Cranstead a quietly upmarket feel, which suits hallways, living rooms and bedsides where you want a soft, ambient glow with a sculptural touch. The clear glass shade keeps the light open and warm, ideal for an E14 LED filament lamp. Use a single fitting to add a point of interest to a plain wall, or a pair either side of a bed or console for symmetry. The dimmable driver lets you lower the light for the evening or raise it for everyday use.
Each marble or travertine backplate is a natural material, so the exact veining varies from piece to piece, giving every light its own look. Wipe the stone gently with a soft dry cloth and avoid harsh or acidic cleaners, which can mark natural stone. The brass arm and glass shade wipe clean with a soft cloth too. As a Class 1 fitting it needs an earth connection, so we suggest a qualified electrician, and the IP20 rating keeps it to dry indoor rooms.

Frequently Asked
What is the backplate made from?
The backplate is solid natural stone, offered in white Volakas marble, natural travertine or dark brown Emperador marble, each with its own veining.
Does the marble pattern vary?
Yes. Because the stone is natural, the exact veining varies from piece to piece, so every light has its own individual look.
What bulb does it take?
It takes one E14 small screw bulb rated up to 6W. An LED filament lamp suits the clear glass shade and runs efficiently.
How do I clean the stone?
Wipe the stone gently with a soft dry cloth, and avoid harsh or acidic cleaners, which can mark and dull natural marble or travertine.
