This floor lamp keeps things simple, with a clear glass shade on matt black painted metalwork for a modern, industrial look. The clear shade leaves the bulb on show, so it pairs well with a filament LED lamp for an on-trend glow. It stands 1520mm tall on a compact 250mm by 280mm base, so it slips in beside a chair or sofa without taking up much floor. It takes a single E27 bulb up to 10W and works with an E27 LED lamp.

Its pared-back, industrial styling suits a modern or contemporary living room, a study or a loft-style space, and the matt black finish keeps it understated against most walls. The clear glass shade and exposed bulb give it a simple, honest look that works as a side light beside seating. Because the base is compact, it fits into tight corners and small rooms where a wider lamp would be in the way, which makes it easy to place. At 5.4kg it stands steady on its compact base, so it holds its spot beside a chair without wobbling.

The metalwork is finished in matt black paint and the shade is clear glass, kept plain to suit the industrial look.
