Description

At 13.4cm wide and 23.8cm tall, our Cornet pendant lampshade suits smaller spots where a full-sized shade would crowd the room. We picture it over a kitchen island, above a reading nook, or clustered at staggered heights across a dining table. Its slim 12.4cm depth and light 0.24kg weight mean it hangs easily from a standard flex, and the compact scale lets you group two or three without the ceiling feeling busy.

The form is what sets this shade apart. Two curved planes wrap into a cone, meeting along an open spiral edge rather than closing into a solid round shape. That open seam lets a little light escape sideways while the main glow falls downward, so you get a soft wash as well as a focused pool beneath. This is the Nuance Olive and steel version, pairing a muted green-grey plane against a cool steel one, a combination we find works well against both pale walls and darker, moodier schemes. The Cornet range draws on the same palette across several finishes, but this page sells the one colourway only.

The shade is made from aluminium, which keeps the weight low and holds the crisp curve of each plane over time. It takes an E27 bulb up to a maximum 15W LED, which we do not include, so you can choose the warmth and brightness that fits the room. Assembly takes around 2 minutes and there is a short video to walk you through it, so you will have it ready to hang almost as soon as it arrives.
