Description

Aluminium in a soft Nuance Mist and steel finish gives our Cornet pendant lampshade its quiet character, a pairing we chose to sit easily above a dining table or beside a reading nook. Two curved planes wrap into a cone, one plane carrying the misted tone and the other the cool steel, and the two meet at an open spiral edge rather than closing into a round drum. The result is a shade that reads differently as you move around it, showing more of one finish or the other depending on where you stand.

Measuring 23.8cm in height, 13.4cm in width and 12.4cm in depth, this is a compact shade that suits a single hanging point over a kitchen island, or a cluster of three at staggered heights across a longer worktop. It weighs just 0.24kg, so it asks little of the flex it hangs from. The open spiral edge lets light spill downward and out through the gap, which we like for the warmth it throws onto a surface below. We finish the aluminium in matt tones so the shade holds its colour without glare, and the Nuance Mist plane keeps a gentle grey softness against the brighter steel.

The Cornet takes an E27 fitting and a bulb up to max 15W LED, which we leave for you to choose so you can set the colour temperature to suit the room, whether a warmer 2700K or something cooler. The bulb is not included. Assembly takes around 2 minutes and we provide a short assembly video to walk you through it.
