At 13.4cm wide and 23.8cm tall, our Cornet pendant lampshade is a compact shade that suits smaller ceiling drops without crowding a room. It sits neatly above a kitchen island, a bedside spot or a reading nook, where its slim 12.4cm depth keeps it close to the wall of a corner or clustered alongside others. Weighing just 0.24kg, it is light enough to hang from a modest flex, and it is made from aluminium so it stays sturdy through everyday use.

The form is what draws the eye here: two curved planes wrap into a cone with an open spiral edge, so the shade is neither closed nor round. We finish this one in Nuance Olive with brass, a soft muted green paired with a warm metallic tone that reads gently across the two planes as the light shifts. The open spiral lets a little glow escape the edge while the planes direct most of it downward, which we find works well over a surface you want to light directly. Because the two planes meet at that curved seam, the shade looks different from each angle you view it, and we like how it changes as you move around the room.
