At 13.4cm wide and 23.8cm tall, our Cornet Brass Pendant Lampshade is a compact fitting that brings a bit of shape to a room without dominating it. The form is made from two curved planes that wrap into a cone, one in nuance mist and one in brass, meeting along an open spiral edge rather than closing fully around the bulb. That open edge lets light spill sideways as well as down, so we find it works nicely over a kitchen island, a reading nook or a bedside where you want a soft glow rather than a harsh downward beam. With a depth of 12.4cm and a weight of just 0.24kg, it stays light on its flex and easy to position.

We keep this a single specification, so what you see is exactly what arrives. The shade comes in Nuance Mist and brass, a gentle muted grey paired with warm metal that we think reads calm and understated. It suits both cooler, neutral schemes and warmer wood tones, and the brass plane picks up ambient light through the day. It takes an E27 bulb up to a maximum of 15W LED, which is not included, so you can choose the warmth and brightness that suits your space. Assembly takes around two minutes, and we include a short video to walk you through it.

Made from aluminium, the shade holds its curved form well and stays a manageable weight to hang. We suggest a clear or warm white LED to let the matt Nuance Mist surface and brass edge show at their best. To care for it, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners so the finish stays true.
