Description

The Corinto is a sculptural LED wall light with two flowing chrome arms that curve outward from a circular backplate, each arm housing an integrated LED strip. The combined 12W LED output delivers 960lm of warm white 3000K light across a 120° beam angle, creating ambient wash lighting rather than directed task light. Designed by Spanish designer Jose Ignacio Ballester for Mantra, the fitting measures 555mm tall and projects 130mm from the wall.

Suited to living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and hotel corridors where decorative accent lighting is needed, the Corinto works best on walls with clear vertical space above and below the fitting to show the full sweep of the curved arms. The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light during the day and adds a metallic accent to both warm-toned and cool contemporary interiors. The circular backplate is 130mm in diameter and conceals the mounting plate and cable entry point.

The integrated LED is non-dimmable and rated for 3000K colour temperature, producing a warm white light similar to halogen rather than the cooler tones of daylight LEDs. At 960lm total output the Corinto provides ambient room lighting rather than reading-level brightness, making it a decorative supplement to ceiling lights rather than a primary source. The lightweight 0.68kg construction allows installation on plasterboard walls with standard fixings.
