Our Cord Set Pro 14cm in Plated Brass suits kitchens, hallways and open-plan living spaces where you want lighting you can shape to the room. This is a ceiling rose with a coiled flex and a bare lampholder on the end, ready to take a bulb of your choosing, so we hand you the framework and let you finish the look. It suits anyone who wants a pared-back fitting rather than a complete pendant, whether you are hanging a single bulb over a worktop or a run of them along a dining table.

The canopy measures 14cm across and just 6.3cm in height, and the whole set weighs 400g, so it sits neatly against the ceiling without dominating the space. It comes with a 2.1m cord, giving you plenty of length to set your preferred drop. Made from aluminium and bakelite, the fitting takes an E27 bulb up to a maximum 15W LED, which is not included, and it holds a maximum load of 4kg. The canopy is intended for indoor use only. For peace of mind, it is tested and certified to UL, CE, IP2X and UKCA standards, so you know what you are fitting into your home.

The Plated Brass finish brings a warm, golden tone that we think pairs well with both painted plaster and exposed brick, and it works just as happily with a clear filament bulb as with a frosted one.
