The Coral is a 350mm square flush ceiling light built around a textured crystal glass panel set within a polished chrome frame. The integrated 15.5W LED sits behind the glass, delivering 620 lumens at 4000K cool white through a dual-layer diffuser: a frosted outer surface with raised geometric patterning overlaying a sand-textured backing layer. The chrome frame projects 65mm from the ceiling, keeping the fitting low-profile for rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights.

Designed for hallways, bathrooms, small bedrooms and utility rooms where a compact overhead fitting is needed, the Coral provides general ambient light rather than task illumination. The 4000K colour temperature produces a neutral white output similar to daylight, which suits bathrooms, kitchens and work areas more naturally than warm white. The textured glass diffuses the light evenly across the room without visible hotspots or LED diode shadows.

The patterning on the glass creates a ripple effect when the light is on, with the raised geometric texture casting subtle internal shadows that shift depending on viewing angle. The polished chrome frame reflects some of this diffused light back into the room, softening the transition between the lit glass panel and the ceiling plane. The 1.15kg weight requires fixing into a solid ceiling joist or ceiling rose capable of supporting the load, and the fitting connects to standard UK 230-240V mains wiring via a terminal block inside the chrome backplate.

Is the Coral dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is fixed at 15.5W output and cannot be dimmed. If dimming is required, you would need to choose a different Mantra model with dimmer-compatible LED circuitry.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 65mm projection makes the Coral suitable for standard UK 2.4m ceiling heights and above. It works particularly well in rooms where a low-profile fitting is needed to maintain clearance, such as hallways, bathrooms and bedrooms.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The Coral does not carry an IP rating in the specification table provided, which means it is not certified for bathroom zones requiring moisture protection. If installing in a bathroom, position it outside zones 1 and 2 (more than 600mm from the edge of a bath or shower tray).

How is the textured glass cleaned?

The raised geometric pattern on the glass can trap dust in the recesses. Wipe gently with a dry microfibre cloth when the light is off and cool. For deeper cleaning, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid soaking the glass or using household sprays that may leave streaks on the chrome frame.
