Description

The Cooper Large is a 390mm curved wall light with a half-moon faux silk shade in ivory and an aged brass back plate. The shade wraps in a gentle arc around a central E27 bulb fitting (bulb sold separately), projecting 135mm from the wall and casting diffused ambient light through the textured fabric.

Designed for living rooms, dining rooms, hallways and bedroom feature walls where wall-mounted ambient light is needed without the hard edges of a conventional shade, the Cooper sits well in traditional, transitional and classic contemporary interiors. The aged brass finish shows intentional patina and tonal variation, giving a warm metallic accent that sits comfortably alongside oak, walnut and darker woods, or as contrast against lighter painted walls. The 230mm height and 390mm width make it substantial enough to anchor a chimney breast or hallway run without overwhelming the wall.

The faux silk shade diffuses light evenly across its curved surface, so the fitting provides ambient wash light rather than directed task light. The E27 socket accepts LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to 60W, allowing control over colour temperature and brightness. The aged brass back plate is fixed to the wall via a concealed mounting plate, with the shade then clipping or screwing onto the front of the assembly depending on the specific fitting mechanism (refer to installation instructions supplied).

What bulb does the Cooper take?

The fitting takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most buyers pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient lighting.
