Description

The Coin is a 340mm square flush ceiling light with an integrated 56W LED panel delivering 2500 lumens through a white acrylic diffuser, framed by a matt black metal border. The LED colour temperature is adjustable from 2700K warm white to 5000K cool white using the included remote control, allowing the light tone to shift from relaxed evening warmth to focused daylight clarity without changing the bulb.

Designed for rooms with standard or low ceiling heights, the 70mm projection from ceiling to underside of the fitting suits bedrooms, home offices, kitchens and hallways where a recessed or semi-recessed fitting would be impractical. The flush mount sits directly against the ceiling rose, with the black frame providing a clean geometric border that works in modern and minimalist interiors. The remote control also handles dimming, giving full brightness control from off to 2500lm.

The square acrylic diffuser spreads light across a 120° beam angle, reducing harsh shadows and filling the room with even ambient light rather than a concentrated central pool. The black powder-coated metal frame measures 340mm x 340mm, small enough for a 3m x 3m bedroom or study but with sufficient lumen output to light a 4m x 4m space when paired with wall-mounted task lighting. The 0.9kg weight mounts to a standard UK ceiling rose without additional ceiling reinforcement.

The included remote allows you to adjust the colour temperature from 2700K warm white to 5000K cool white. Warmer tones suit evening relaxation, while cooler tones mimic daylight for reading or working. The remote also controls dimming from full brightness down to off.

2500 lumens provides ambient lighting for rooms up to approximately 16-18 square metres (4m x 4m). For larger rooms or where brighter task lighting is needed, consider pairing the Coin with wall-mounted or floor lamps.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 70mm projection from ceiling to underside makes it suitable for low ceilings where pendant or semi-flush fittings would hang too low. The flush mount sits directly against the ceiling rose.

Does the remote need line-of-sight to the fitting?

Most LED remote controls use infrared (IR) and require line-of-sight. Some newer models use radio frequency (RF) which does not. Check the remote supplied with your unit. If it has a small antenna or works when pointed away from the fitting, it is RF.
