Description

This is an indoor wall light with a decorative secret-garden design, worked with leaves, dragonflies and birds in an antique brass finish. When lit, the cut-out design casts a soft, patterned light across the wall, giving the fitting a decorative role as well as a practical one. Built from steel, it is a compact, upright fitting at 250mm tall and 128mm wide, projecting 145mm from the wall. It takes a single E14 small screw bulb up to 6W and is fully dimmable, so you can set it bright or turn it low to let the patterned shadows come through more gently.

The Cliffmere suits living rooms, hallways, bedrooms and landings where you want a light with a bit of charm and a decorative glow. It works nicely as an accent beside a bed, in an alcove or along a hallway, where the patterned light adds interest to a plain wall. The antique brass finish and nature-inspired design bring a warm, characterful feel that suits classic and country-style rooms, and a pair either side of a bed or a mirror makes a pretty, balanced arrangement. It is a fitting with personality rather than a plain box.

The body is made from steel and finished in antique brass plate, with the secret-garden design cut into the metalwork so it throws a decorative pattern when lit. It is wired as an earthed Class 1 fitting and rated IP20, so it belongs in dry indoor rooms rather than bathrooms. Being dimmable, it lets you control both the brightness and the strength of the patterned light. To care for it, switch off and let the bulb cool, then wipe the brass with a soft dry cloth. Others are available in the same range if you would like to co-ordinate the look.
