This antique brass wall light is supplied as the metal fitting, ready for you to add a shade of your choosing, which lets you tailor the look to your room. The antique brass plate has a warm, on-trend character that suits classic and modern interiors alike, and it measures 330mm tall and 120mm wide, projecting 225mm from the wall. It takes a single E27 bulb rated up to 10W and is dimmable, so you can set the level to suit the space. The fitting is designed to take standard 8 inch and 10 inch diameter shades.

The Cliffdon suits living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and dining spaces where you want to match the shade to your own scheme rather than a fixed design. Because you choose the shade, you can pick a fabric, colour and shape that fits the room, and the antique brass arm works with everything from a plain drum to a tapered pleated shade. Rated IP20, it is made for dry indoor rooms rather than bathrooms, and as a Class 1 fitting it connects to an earth, so it should be installed by a qualified electrician. The dimmable driver adds flexibility over the light level.

Care is simple; wipe the antique brass with a soft, dry cloth to keep the finish even, and avoid metal polishes or abrasives that would strip the aged effect back to bright brass. To dim the light you will need a compatible dimmer switch on the circuit. We offer a range of fabric shades to suit this fitting, and companion versions are available already paired with cream and ivory tapered shades, so you can either build your own look or choose a ready-matched shade from the same range.
