Description

The Cliffdale is a six arm pendant framed by columns of twisted clear glass rods, with a matt gold finish behind them. The clear glass and warm gold play against each other, so the light seems to shimmer through the twisted rods as it falls. It measures 500mm across and is a substantial piece at around 12.7kg, carrying six E14 lamp holders for a full, generous light.

This is a design for a room that can carry a real centrepiece, such as a dining room, a large hallway or a living space with height. The clear glass and gold reads glamorous without being fussy, and it draws the eye upward. Six lamps give plenty of brightness, up to 240W in total, and because it is dimmable you can hold it high for entertaining or ease it down for a softer mood. It rewards a spot where it can be seen and admired from below.

The suspension cables adjust the drop between 400 and 1600mm at installation, so you can set the height to frame a table or fill a stairwell. It is a Class 1 earthed fitting, so it needs an earth connection and is best installed by a qualified electrician, while its IP20 rating keeps it to dry indoor rooms.
