At 43cm in diameter and 24cm high, our Clava Dine Wood Pendant Lampshade brings a broad, low profile to the ceiling without weighing down the space below it. Weighing just 1.42kg, it hangs easily above a dining table or kitchen island, casting a warm pool of light across the surface underneath. The wide, flattened form gives it a gentle presence, and we like how it reads as a soft horizontal shape rather than a tall drop, keeping sightlines open across a room.

The shade is built from fine vertical wooden slats set over a rounded form, so the surface is textured rather than smooth or solid. Made from oak, ash and laminated veneer in an Oak Ash finish, it carries the natural grain and warm tone of the timber, with light filtering softly between the slats as well as through the open ends. We chose this construction because it gives a pendant lampshade real material warmth, and the pale Oak Ash colour sits well against both bright white ceilings and darker paint. Each slat catches the light a little differently, which keeps the shade from looking flat when it is lit.

Assembly takes around five minutes and we include an assembly video to walk you through it, so there is no guesswork in getting it ready to hang. It is compatible with E27 fittings and takes a max 15W LED bulb, which is not included, so you can choose the colour temperature and brightness that suits the setting, whether that is a soft 2700K glow over a table or something cooler for a working space.
