The Clarixa is an 80cm outdoor LED bollard light with an aluminium column finished in a dark brown powder coat and an integrated LED light source emitting 3000K warm white light. The rectangular light head measures 95mm wide by 150mm in projection and casts downward illumination onto pathways, driveways and garden perimeters. The IP54 rating provides dust and splash protection suitable for year-round outdoor use in UK weather.

Designed for boundary and path lighting in residential gardens, commercial grounds and public walkways, the Clarixa stands 80cm tall — low enough to avoid obstructing sightlines across a garden but tall enough to provide light distribution over a 1.5-2m radius on horizontal surfaces. The bollard mounts onto a flat surface via a square base plate, typically fixed to a concrete pad or paving slab, with mains cable fed through a conduit underground or through the base.

The brown powder-coated aluminium finish resists corrosion and blends with natural garden materials including timber decking, gravel paths and terracotta paving. The integrated LED is non-replaceable but rated for long service life, removing the need for bulb changes. The 3000K colour temperature produces a warm white light comparable to traditional halogen pathway lighting, avoiding the cooler blue cast of higher-temperature LEDs that can look clinical in garden settings.

Can this bollard be used on driveways?

The IP54 rating provides protection from dust and water splashes, so the bollard can be installed adjacent to driveways where it may be exposed to rain and occasional spray from vehicles. The base plate should be fixed to a stable surface set back from the vehicle path to avoid impact damage.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and not user-replaceable. Integrated LEDs are designed for extended service life, typically 20,000-30,000 hours, which equates to 10-15 years of typical evening use in a domestic garden.

What spacing is recommended between bollards?

For continuous pathway lighting, position Clarixa bollards 3-4m apart. For accent or perimeter lighting where full path illumination is not required, 5-6m spacing is acceptable. The exact spacing depends on the width of the path and the amount of ambient light from other sources.

How is the bollard installed?

The square base plate fixes to a flat surface using screws or bolts, typically onto a concrete pad or paving slab. Mains cable is fed through the base from below, either through a conduit buried underground or through a hole drilled in the mounting surface. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
