Description

The Clarityx is an 83cm linear LED wall light housing a single integrated 37W LED strip behind a white metal diffuser. The fitting projects 90mm from the wall and casts 3000K warm white light evenly along its length, designed to illuminate corridors, office hallways, above bathroom mirrors, or along feature walls where a continuous line of light is needed.

Designed for commercial and residential indoor use, the Clarityx suits spaces requiring functional task lighting rather than decorative accent. The 830mm length makes it appropriate for corridors 1.5-2.5m wide, bathroom mirrors 80-100cm wide, or office hallways where even light distribution prevents shadowing. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor areas only — this is not suitable for bathrooms within the zones requiring splash protection.

The white powder-coated metal housing diffuses the LED strip without visible hotspots when viewed from the side, and the low 90mm projection keeps the fitting clear of head height in narrow corridors when mounted at 2m above floor level. The integrated LED is non-replaceable but carries a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux. The fitting is non-dimmable and operates on standard 230V mains without requiring a separate driver.

Can this be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating means it is only suitable for dry indoor areas outside bathroom zones requiring splash protection. It can be used in a bathroom if mounted well away from showers, baths and basins, but not directly above a mirror within zone 2.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 37W LED strip is integrated into the housing and is not user-replaceable. The LED is covered by Ideal Lux's 5-year warranty.

What mounting height works best?

For corridor or hallway use, mount at 2-2.2m above floor level to provide even light distribution without creating glare at eye level. For use above a bathroom mirror, mount 200-300mm above the top edge of the mirror.

What colour is the light output?

The 3000K colour temperature produces warm white light comparable to a traditional halogen or incandescent bulb, rather than the cooler blue-white tone of higher Kelvin LEDs.
