Description

The Clarityx is a 61cm linear LED wall light with an integrated 37W 3000K LED strip housed inside a matt white metal body. The rectangular profile measures 610mm long by 90mm deep, projecting cleanly from the wall to cast directional light up and down the wall plane. The IP20 rating makes it suitable for dry indoor locations only.

Designed for corridors, bedrooms, home offices and living spaces where horizontal line lighting adds visual interest without overwhelming a room, the Clarityx mounts directly onto the wall via a concealed back plate. The 610mm length suits walls of 3m or wider where the fitting can balance other elements in the room without appearing undersized. The up-and-down light distribution emphasises wall texture and creates subtle ambient illumination without glare.

The matt white metal body pairs with modern, Scandinavian and minimalist interiors where clean lines and neutral tones dominate. The integrated 37W LED delivers approximately 3,700 lumens at 3000K, providing warm white light comparable to a traditional halogen wash but with substantially lower power consumption. The fitting is non-dimmable and runs on standard 230V mains.

Is the Clarityx dimmable?

No. The integrated LED runs at a fixed 37W output on 230V mains and is not compatible with dimmer switches. If dimming is required, consider alternative Ideal Lux models with dimmable drivers.

What is the light output direction?

The Clarityx emits light both upwards and downwards from the wall-mounted body, creating a wash effect on the wall plane. It does not project light forward into the room, so it acts as accent or ambient lighting rather than task lighting.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting has no protection against moisture ingress and is only suitable for dry indoor environments such as bedrooms, living rooms, offices and hallways outside bathroom zones.

What wall colour works best with this fitting?

The up-and-down light effect is most visible on light-coloured or textured walls where the wash creates contrast. On very dark walls the effect is more subtle, though the warm 3000K tone remains visible.
