Description

The Clarionis is a 5.3m white steel holder designed to secure LED strip tape in continuous runs along walls, ceilings, under cabinets and within cove lighting installations. The holder forms a rigid channel with a 60mm projection from the mounting surface, providing both a secure fixing point for the LED strip and a physical barrier to protect the tape from accidental contact during installation and use.

Designed for residential kitchens, retail display shelving, hospitality under-bar lighting and commercial cove lighting where LED tape needs to run in long, straight sections, the Clarionis mounts directly to plasterboard, timber stud or masonry surfaces using fixings appropriate to the substrate. The 60mm projection allows the holder to sit proud of the wall or ceiling plane, directing light downwards for under-cabinet task lighting or upwards for indirect cove wash. The white powder-coated steel finish blends against white ceilings and cabinetry.

The steel construction holds its shape across the full 5.3m length without sagging when mounted at standard fixing intervals, preventing the LED strip from drooping or creating uneven light distribution. The channel profile accepts most standard 10mm and 12mm width LED tape, with adhesive backing fixing the tape inside the holder. The holder ships as a single 5.3m section and can be cut to length on site using a hacksaw or angle grinder where shorter runs are needed.

Frequently Asked

What width LED strip does it accept?

The Clarionis channel accepts most standard 10mm and 12mm width LED tape. Wider tapes or RGB variants with larger PCBs may not fit within the 60mm profile — check the tape width before ordering.

Can it be cut to shorter lengths?

Yes. The 5.3m holder can be cut to length on site using a hacksaw or angle grinder, allowing you to match the exact run length needed for your installation. Cut edges should be deburred before mounting.

How is it mounted?

The holder mounts to the substrate using screws or fixings appropriate to the surface type. For plasterboard, use plasterboard anchors at 600mm intervals. For timber stud, screw directly into the stud. For masonry, use wall plugs and screws.

Does the LED strip need to be adhered inside?

Yes. Most LED tape has an adhesive backing that fixes the strip to the inside of the channel. The holder provides structural support and protection, but does not mechanically clip the tape in place — adhesion is required.
