Description
The Citronic CORVA-8 is a passive full-range PA cabinet built for larger installations and events where you need high volume and clear sound. It handles 400W RMS and uses custom heavy-duty driver components chosen to cope with the output of high-powered amplifiers. Because it's a passive cabinet, you'll pair it with a separate power amp rather than driving it directly, which gives you flexibility over how you build your system.
The enclosure is made from 15mm plywood with a polyurea finish, so it stands up well to regular use and transport. Integral handles make it easier to carry and position, and there's a pole-mount socket for stand mounting. If you need to rig it overhead, there are 12 M8 flying points built in, giving you options to stack, pole mount, or fly the cabinet at height. Two parallel Speakon (SPK) sockets let you link cabinets together in a chain.
Nominal impedance is 8 ohms, which is a common load for most professional amplifiers, so matching it to your rig is straightforward. The CORVA-8 suits mobile DJs, hire companies, venues and event professionals who want a rugged cabinet that keeps its clarity at concert-level output. Run it with suitable amplification and it gives you reliable, consistent performance across a full frequency range without needing a lot of setup.

Frequently Asked
Is the CORVA-8 active or passive?
It's a passive cabinet, so you'll need a separate power amplifier to drive it. This lets you choose amplification to suit your setup and match it with other cabinets in the range.
What amplifier do I need for the CORVA-8?
You'll want an amp rated to handle the 400W RMS power and 8 ohm nominal impedance. Most professional power amplifiers will drive it comfortably when matched correctly.
Can I mount the CORVA-8 on a speaker stand?
Yes. There's a pole-mount socket for stand mounting, and you can also stack the cabinets or fly them at height using the 12 integrated M8 flying points.
What connectors does it use?
It has two parallel Speakon (SPK) sockets, so you can link cabinets together in a chain from a single amplifier output.
Is the cabinet suitable for regular transport and hire use?
Yes. The 15mm plywood enclosure has a polyurea finish and integral handles, so it's built to cope with frequent moving and setup.
