Description

The Citronic CORVA-18S is a passive subwoofer built for high power sound reinforcement where strong low end matters. It uses a custom-designed heavy-duty sub driver with high power handling, rated at 2000W rms, to deliver low frequency content with depth and dynamics. For larger venues and high energy environments, it has the headroom to reach the sound pressure levels the job needs.

The cabinet is made from 18mm plywood with a polyurea coating, reinforced and ported to help the driver work efficiently. The steel grille is powder coated to protect the front, and double carry handles on each side make lifting and positioning easier. A 35mm pole mount socket on the top lets you stand a mid-high speaker (US: satellite) directly above the sub, keeping your setup tidy and aligned.

Connection is handled by two parallel speakon-style SPK sockets, so you can link cabinets in a chain when running more than one sub. The impedance is 8 Ohms, which suits a wide range of power amplifiers commonly used in touring and installed rigs. As a passive design, the CORVA-18S needs an external amplifier and crossover, giving you the freedom to match it to the rest of your system. It works well alongside full-range tops in mobile DJ, live band and hire setups where reliable, powerful bass is the priority.
