Description
The Citronic CORVA-12SA is an active subwoofer built to add high energy low frequency content to larger sound systems. It pairs with the CORVA full-range cabinets to form a balanced setup with high SPL and strong projection, so bass carries across a venue rather than staying close to the stage. The ported 18mm plywood cabinet is reinforced and fitted with a custom heavy-duty driver, giving good power handling and a deep, dynamic response.
Power comes from a class-D amplifier section under DSP control. A menu-driven colour display lets you set EQ profiles, dynamics and gain from the cabinet itself, and a USB interface lets you connect a PC for more detailed editing. That means you can adjust, test and save custom DSP settings, which is useful when you need to match the sub to a room or repeat a known configuration across events. Rated at 700W, the CORVA-12SA suits professional installers and sound technicians working on concert venues and outdoor shows.
The enclosure is 18mm ply with a polyurea coating, protected by a powder-coated steel grille, so it stands up to regular transport and setup. Double carry handles on each side make it easier to lift and position, and a 35mm pole mount socket on top takes a speaker pole (US: speaker stand pole) for mounting a full-range top above the sub. Impedance is 8 Ohms. Between the rugged build, the pole mount and the onboard DSP, it is a practical choice for touring and installed use where you want repeatable low end night after night.

Frequently Asked
What is the CORVA-12SA designed to pair with?
It is designed to work with the CORVA full-range cabinets, creating a balanced system with high SPL and strong projection for larger venues and outdoor events.
How do I adjust the DSP settings?
You can set EQ profiles, dynamics and gain from the menu-driven colour display on the cabinet. For deeper editing, connect a PC via the USB interface to adjust, test and save custom settings.
Can I mount a top cabinet on it?
Yes. There is a 35mm pole mount socket on top, so you can fit a speaker pole (US: speaker stand pole) and mount a full-range cabinet above the sub.
What is the power rating and impedance?
The CORVA-12SA is rated at 700W and has an impedance of 8 Ohms, driven by a class-D amplifier section with DSP control.
Is the cabinet built for touring?
It uses an 18mm ply enclosure with a polyurea coating and a powder-coated steel grille, plus double carry handles on each side, so it is suited to regular transport and setup.
