Description
The Citronic CORVA-12A is a high power active PA speaker cabinet built for serious sound reinforcement. It puts out 700W and delivers more than twice the power of the CUBA range, which makes it a sensible choice for outdoor events, fixed installations, and large scale professional hire. Heavy duty driver components and inbuilt Class-D amplification handle high SPL output without running short on headroom.
At the heart of the cabinet is a menu driven DSP section with a colour display, so you can get to EQ, dynamics, and gain settings quickly. For more detailed work, a USB connection lets you edit, test, and save custom DSP profiles from a PC. Connections cover two Mic/Line inputs on combined XLR/6.3mm sockets, an Aux input on 3.5mm, and an XLR line output for linking to further cabinets. Both the main driver and the HF driver run at 8 ohms.
The enclosure is made from sturdy plywood with a polyurea finish, so it stands up well to regular transport and outdoor use. Twelve M8 flying points are fitted for rigging, and a 35mm pole socket handles pole mounting (US: speaker stand mounting) and stacking. Together these give you plenty of options for setting up in different venues, whether the cabinet is flown, stood on a pole, or stacked on the floor. It is a practical, hard-working active speaker for anyone who needs reliable power and flexible control across a range of jobs.
