Made from oak with a slim metal canopy, our Chimes Tall Pendant Light is a single wooden cylinder suspended on a cord, and we love how quietly it holds its own in a room. Finished in Black Oak, it measures just 3.4cm across and stands 44cm tall, giving it a tall, upright form that draws the eye without crowding the space around it. At 0.52kg it is light to handle, and we have kept the design pared back so the natural material does the talking. This is a piece we reach for when we want warmth from wood and clean lines from the fitting itself.

We supply the pendant with 3m of black cord and a metal canopy, so you have plenty of length to set the drop where you want it, whether that is low over a side table or higher across a hallway. The built-in 2W LED panel gives a warm 3000K glow at 120 lumen, with a CRI of 80 and a rated life of 50000 hours, so you can leave it in place for years. Please note this lamp is not dimmable. It carries UKCA, CE and IP2X marks, and assembly takes around two minutes, so you can have it up and lit almost as soon as it reaches you. We also back it with a 10-year warranty.

Because the cylinder is so narrow, we find it works beautifully in a run of three or more, staggered at different heights above a dining table or a kitchen island. On its own, it suits a bedside spot or a reading nook where a softer, lower level of light is welcome. To care for the Black Oak, wipe it gently with a dry or barely damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaners, and it will keep its warm colour for the long term.
