Description

The Cellar is a 10cm opal glass sphere pendant light suspended on a black cable from a black metal canopy, housing a single G4 bi-pin bulb fitting inside the globe. The opal glass diffuses light evenly in all directions, softening the G4 bulb source and reducing glare while maintaining brightness across the sphere.

Designed for task and accent lighting over kitchen islands, dining tables, bar counters and workbenches, the Cellar works individually or in linear runs of three to five pendants spaced 400-600mm apart. The 300-1700mm adjustable drop allows the pendant to be set between 600-800mm above a worktop or table surface depending on ceiling height, with the cable trimmed to length during installation. The 10cm globe provides focused light without dominating sightlines across a table.

The black metal suspension and canopy contrast with the opal white glass, giving the pendant a defined silhouette against both light and dark ceilings. The G4 bi-pin fitting accepts capsule bulbs in LED or halogen formats (sold separately), with most users choosing 3-5W LED capsules in 3000K or 4000K depending on whether the space needs warm or neutral white light. The opal finish hides the bulb internals while showing the warm glow when lit.

The Cellar takes a single G4 bi-pin capsule bulb, sold separately. G4 capsules are available in LED (2-5W) or halogen (10-20W) formats. Most users pair this pendant with a 3-5W LED capsule in either 3000K warm white or 4000K neutral white.

Is it dimmable?

No. The pendant is not compatible with dimmer switches. Use a non-dimmable LED or halogen G4 bulb.

Can multiple pendants be installed together?

Yes. The Cellar is often installed in linear runs of three to five pendants above kitchen islands or dining tables, spaced 400-600mm apart. Each pendant requires its own ceiling fixing point and cable run.

How is the drop adjusted?

The cable is adjustable between 300mm and 1700mm. The drop is set by cutting the cable to the required length during installation and securing it in the ceiling canopy. Once cut, the drop cannot be extended again without replacing the cable.
