This wall light has a vintage feel, finished in a matt antique brass effect plate and topped with a vintage white faux-silk shade that gives a soft, warm light. A toggle switch is built in for operation at the fitting, and the matt brass finish keeps the metalwork understated rather than shiny. It is an upright fitting at 283mm tall and 150mm wide, projecting 234mm from the wall. It takes a single E14 small screw bulb up to 40W and is fully dimmable, so you can run it bright for reading or lower it for a relaxed, evening glow.

The Castwell suits bedrooms, living rooms and hallways where you want a warm, classic light with a vintage touch. The built-in toggle switch makes it a practical bedside light, letting you turn it on and off without reaching for the wall, and the vintage white shade keeps the light soft and the look neutral. It sits comfortably in period and classic rooms, and a pair either side of a bed or a mirror gives a balanced, considered arrangement. The matt antique brass finish adds warmth without drawing too much attention.
