Three fabric shades sit along this pendant, each in a vintage white faux silk set against matt antique brass effect metalwork. The pairing gives a soft, traditional look, with the white shades spreading a warm, diffused light while the brass frame keeps the fitting grounded. It measures 620mm across and hangs on an adjustable drop from 500mm up to 2000mm, so it can be set low over a table or high in a stairwell. Each of the three lampholders takes an E14 bulb up to 6W per lamp, and the fitting is dimmable and made for LED lamps.

With its vintage styling, the Castwell suits period and traditional homes, as well as more relaxed country schemes, and looks at home over a dining table or in a larger living room. The wide drop range and grey twisted fabric flex mean it can hang low as a table centrepiece or higher where you need clearance. At 620mm across it is a fitting for medium and larger rooms rather than tight spaces, and the three shades give a gentle, spread-out light rather than one strong beam.

The metalwork is finished in matt antique brass and hung on a 1.5 metre grey twisted fabric flex, with the shades made from vintage white fabric. Being dimmable, you can soften the light for the evening with a compatible dimmer switch. As a Class 1 fitting it needs an earth connection, so it is best installed by a qualified electrician, while the IP20 rating keeps it to dry indoor rooms. To care for it, dust the shades with a soft brush and wipe the brass with a dry cloth. Matching pieces are available if you want to repeat the look elsewhere.
