This wall light sets a stepped back plate and a simple T-shaped arm beneath a natural-toned Ikat shade, a warm neutral that suits almost any scheme. The 20cm tapered shade is hand-pleated from digitally printed faux silk, with taped edge detailing and a plain inner lining that keeps the light soft. The arm angle is adjustable so you can direct the glow to suit the space. At 385mm tall with a 245mm projection, the fitting takes one B22 bulb up to 7W and is fully dimmable, giving you an easy range from bright to low.

The Castleigh has real presence on the wall, making it a natural pick for larger spaces such as a hallway, a stairwell or a main bedroom. The natural Ikat shade is the calmest option in the range, sitting quietly against painted or papered walls and letting the stepped brass arm provide the shape. Use a pair for symmetry either side of a bed or a mirror, or a single fitting as a soft reading light beside a chair. It leans classic, but the neutral shade keeps it flexible enough for modern rooms too.

The frame is finished in brushed aged brass, a warm mid-tone that works with wood, cream and darker paint colours. The arm and wall back need a little assembly, with a fixing tool included so the job is quick.
