Description

The Castdon is a two-light table lamp that combines a plated metal frame with crystal glass detailing and a vintage white fabric shade. It takes two E14 bulbs, up to 40W each and 80W in total, giving a fuller, brighter light than a single-bulb lamp. Standing 540mm tall and weighing 1.7kg, it has a shaped base dressed with crystal glass elements that catch the light. The lamp is supplied with an inline switch and works with E14 LED bulbs, so you can keep running costs low.

With two bulbs and a generous shade, the Castdon suits living rooms, hallways and larger bedrooms where you want a lamp with a little more presence and output. It reads well on a sideboard or console table, and the vintage white shade keeps the light soft and warm. The inline switch on the cable makes it easy to operate without a nearby wall socket switch, so it works comfortably next to a sofa or a reading chair where you want light within arm's reach.

The frame is built from steel with a bright nickel or brass plate, finished with a vintage white silk-effect shade and crystal glass. Choose the nickel version for a cooler, brighter tone or the brass for a warmer look. As a Class 2 double insulated lamp it does not need an earth connection, and its IP20 rating means it is intended for dry indoor rooms.
