Description

Made from polypropylene and polycarbonate, our Carmina Lampshade Mini in Amazonas is a lightweight shade built from broad, overlapping curved leaves that twist around a central point. There is nothing smooth or spherical about it. Instead we get depth and movement, with each leaf catching light differently as it curls away from its neighbour. The Amazonas colourway gives the piece its character, warm and layered rather than flat, so the shade reads as a small sculpture whether it is lit or resting unlit during the day.

At 22cm high with a diameter of 32cm, the Mini suits smaller spaces and lower ceilings where a fuller shade would feel too heavy. It weighs just 0.28kg, which makes it easy to hang and easy to reposition if you change your mind about where it sits. It is a flexible fitting, so you can use it as a pendant shade, on a floor lamp base or on a table lamp base depending on the room. It takes an E27 fitting and works with LED bulbs up to 15W, though the bulb itself is not included so you can pick the warmth and brightness that suits you. Do keep this one for indoor rooms only, as it is not rated for outdoor use.

Assembly takes around 15 minutes and we provide a short video to walk you through it, so the overlapping leaves sit exactly as they should. If you want a little more presence, the range also comes in a Medium at 36cm high and 48cm in diameter. For now, this Mini in Amazonas gives you the same twisting leaf form in a size that tucks neatly into hallways, bedside corners and reading nooks, bringing a soft glow wherever you decide to place it.
