Description

This is a fully portable, rechargeable table lamp in a brushed aged brass finish with clear acrylic detail, paired with a 16cm Ripple clip-on shade in marlin blue. It stands 400mm tall with a 160mm shade diameter, and the handmade gathered, pleated tapered shade is digitally printed on faux linen with a taped edge and plain inner lining. The Carlwood runs on a built-in 1.5W LED at warm white 2700K, with a three-stage touch dimmer, and charges over USB.

It suits a bedside table, hallway, shelf or dining table, and is a good answer for corners where a plug is out of reach. Turn it on for a low light, then touch to step up to medium and bright, which makes it a handy bedside lamp for reading and winding down. Being cordless and light at 0.6kg, it lifts easily from room to room. A full charge takes around 5.5 hours and gives up to 36 hours of light, and the vibrant marlin blue Ripple shade adds a bold splash of colour to a portable lamp.

The base has a brushed aged brass plated finish with clear acrylic detail over a 1.5W integrated LED, topped with a handmade 16cm gathered, pleated tapered Ripple clip-on shade in digitally printed marlin blue faux linen with a taped edge. It has a three-stage touch dimmer and a rechargeable battery inside, and comes with a USB-C to USB-A charging cable, so there are no bulbs to buy. As an IP20 indoor fitting it should be used in dry spaces away from water. Wipe the brass with a soft dry cloth, brush the shade gently and recharge over USB when the light dims.
