This wall light features a bevelled rectangular mirrored back plate that reflects and lifts the light, paired with a bright polished nickel arm that supports a single vintage white cylinder shade. The mirrored back adds depth and a little shine, while the fabric shade keeps the glow soft and warm. It blends classic and modern styling in one neat fitting. Standing 430mm tall and projecting 175mm from the wall, the Carlhurst takes a single E14 small screw bulb up to 6W and is fully dimmable, so you can set it bright for reading or low for a gentle evening light.

The Carlhurst suits bedrooms, hallways and living rooms where you want a light with a touch of glamour but a calm, neutral shade. The mirrored back plate makes it feel a little larger and brighter on the wall, which is handy in a darker corner or a narrow hallway. It looks smart beside a bed as a reading light, or as a pair either side of a mirror or a fireplace for a balanced, considered look. The vintage white shade keeps it versatile across classic and modern schemes.

The metalwork is finished in polished nickel plate, and the back plate is bevelled-edge mirrored glass that catches the light. The shade is a vintage white fabric cylinder that softens the glow. It is wired as an earthed Class 1 fitting and rated IP20, so it is made for dry indoor rooms rather than bathrooms. The fitting is dimmable for control over the mood. To care for it, switch off and let the bulb cool, then wipe the nickel and mirrored glass with a soft, barely damp cloth and lift dust from the shade with a soft brush.
