Description

This cantilevered floor lamp reaches out on a long horizontal arm, suspending a black cotton shade over the space below from matt nickel metalwork and a matt black base. Inspired by architectural forms, it stands 1925mm tall with a 1600mm reach, so the shade can hang over a sofa or a chair from the side. The black shade and matt nickel stem give it a refined, contemporary look. It takes a single E27 bulb up to 10W and works with an E27 LED lamp.

The long reach makes it a natural choice for arching over seating, a reading chair or a corner where a floor-standing lamp cannot sit directly. Its architectural shape suits modern and contemporary rooms, and the matt black base balances the nickel stem for a considered, symmetrical look. Allow room for the arm to overhang your seating when you place it, and the shade will sit right where you want the light to fall. At 10.7kg the weighted base anchors the long arm, and the 500mm depth lets the shade clear the floor cleanly over a sofa.

The stem is matt nickel plated with a black painted base, and the shade is a black cotton fabric with a matching liner.
