Description

The Carlbury is a single ceiling pendant in a fisherman style, pairing satin nickel plated metalwork with a clear glass shade. The clear glass leaves the bulb on view and lets the light out freely, so it works as both a soft general light and a spot to show off a decorative lamp. The drop adjusts from 400mm to 1000mm on a chain and clear cable, and the 330mm shade gives it enough presence to hang on its own or in a row.

It suits a kitchen island, a dining table or a hallway, and its plain nautical shape settles into both traditional and simpler modern rooms. Hung as a set over a worktop or run along a breakfast bar, the clear glass keeps the look light and open rather than boxed in. The satin nickel finish is soft and neutral, so it sits well with grey, navy and natural wood, and at 1.4kg it is light enough to space several drops along a longer island without a heavy look overhead.
