The Canvas is a 40cm white LED wall light from Ideal Lux, built around a metal rectangular body with an acrylic diffuser panel that softens the output from an integrated 15.5W LED module running at 3000K. The wall light projects 100mm from the wall and mounts on a standard UK back plate, with a 1700mm flex run allowing installation up to 1.7m from the power source.

Designed for hallways, living rooms, offices and commercial settings where horizontal wash light is needed without ceiling fittings, the Canvas casts light both up and down the wall while the acrylic front panel prevents glare at eye level. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor areas — not bathrooms, kitchens above sinks, or outdoor covered zones. The non-dimmable LED is fixed at warm white 3000K, matching incandescent and halogen colour temperature for rooms lit with mixed sources.

The white metal body finish sits neutrally against most wall colours and the minimal rectangular form works in both contemporary and traditional interiors without visual weight. At 395mm length the fitting sits proportionally on walls 2.5m wide or wider without dominating the vertical surface.
