Description

The Camerino is a 370mm horizontal wall light with a cylindrical frosted glass diffuser held between polished chrome end caps, mounted on a white aluminium bracket. Two E14 bulbs sit inside the glass tube (sold separately), distributing light evenly along the cylinder's length and casting a soft glow through the frosted glass.

Designed for bathrooms above mirrors, hallway runs, and bedroom accent lighting, the Camerino provides glare-free illumination suitable for task and ambient applications. The 80mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting compact against vertical surfaces, while the 370mm length covers typical single-sink vanity widths or alcove dimensions. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor areas — bathrooms in Zone 3 or further from water sources only.

The frosted glass diffuser softens the light output and hides the bulb filaments, giving a uniform appearance when lit. The white aluminium bracket matches contemporary bathroom suites and painted walls, while the polished chrome end caps add metallic accents at each end of the tube. Can this be used in a bathroom?

The IP20 rating permits indoor use in dry areas only. In bathrooms, the Camerino must be installed in Zone 3 — at least 600mm from the edge of a bath or shower enclosure. It cannot be used in Zones 0, 1 or 2 where water contact is possible.

What bulbs does it take?

The fitting takes two E14 small Edison screw bulbs up to a maximum wattage specified by Ideal Lux (check the product label or instruction sheet). Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle or golf-ball bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for bathroom or hallway use.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, the fitting itself is dimmable. To achieve dimming, you need dimmable E14 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch on the circuit. Not all LED bulbs dim smoothly — check bulb packaging for dimmer compatibility before purchasing.

How is it fitted?

The white aluminium bracket fixes to the wall using two screws through pre-drilled mounting holes. The wiring connects inside the bracket, and the glass cylinder with chrome end caps clips or screws into place once the bracket is mounted and wired.
