The Caldstead is a decorative single pendant in aged, antique brass effect plate, holding a reflective champagne finish glass shade. The warm brass and the softly mirrored glass work together to spread a diffused, flattering light and to add a little glamour when the lamp is off. It hangs on a 1 metre black twisted fabric flex with the drop adjustable from 400mm to 1490mm, and the 285mm shade suits a single feature drop or a small grouping.

It suits a hallway, dining room, bedroom or living space where you want warmth and a hint of shine without a large fitting. The champagne glass picks up the tones around it and glows gently when lit, so it reads as a jewel-like accent rather than a heavy centrepiece. Antique brass sits well with deep greens and blues, warm neutrals and natural wood, and at 1.9kg the pendant is easy to place singly or repeat through connecting spaces such as a hall and landing.
