Description

The Caldmere is a metal table lamp inspired by traditional candlestick designs, with slim, turned metalwork in antique brass plate. It stands 620mm tall with a 250mm shade and weighs 1.8kg, pairing a switched B22 metal lamp holder with a black fabric cable to plug. The 25cm Ikat shade is a gathered, pleated design in a silk-like polyester-cotton blend, digitally printed in a soft pearl grey that stays calm and neutral against the warm brass. It takes one B22 bulb up to 10W and works with B22 LED lamps.

The tall candlestick shape brings a classic, upright note to period and traditional rooms, and the pearl grey shade keeps the palette gentle, so it slots into most schemes without competing. It works well as a pair on a sideboard or either side of a bed, and the antique brass finish pairs easily with wood and other warm metals. The shade gives a soft, ambient light rather than a sharp task beam, which suits a reading corner or a hall table, and the holder switch makes it easy to use.
