Description

This is a ceramic table lamp base inspired by palm and fern leaves, with a gloss ivory crackle glaze and handmade leaf-shaped detailing. It is the larger of two sizes at 375mm tall and 175mm in diameter, with a substantial feel at 3.1kg. The Caldford is supplied as a base with a switched brass B22 lamp holder and grey braided fabric flex, ready to take a shade of your choosing.

It suits a living room, bedroom or hallway where you want a taller, sculptural base to finish your own way. The ivory crackle glaze and botanical leaf detail keep it soft and organic, so it works in country, coastal and modern rooms, while the aged brass stem adds warmth. Because the shade is separate, you can match it to your scheme, and it is designed to pair with one of our 30cm or 35cm fabric or 32cm raffia shades. Its larger scale gives it presence on a console, sideboard or wide bedside table, so it holds its own as a focal point in the room.

The base is glazed ceramic in an ivory crackle finish with handmade leaf details, an aged brass plated stem and a switched brass B22 lamp holder on a 1.5 metre grey fabric cable. It takes one B22 bayonet-fit bulb up to 10W, and as a Class 1 earthed, IP20 indoor fitting it connects to an earthed supply and should be kept away from water. Dust the glazed ceramic with a soft dry cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners on the crackle glaze. Add one of our 30cm, 35cm or 32cm raffia shades to complete the look, with a smaller size also offered in the range.
