The Byron is a 305mm-high outdoor wall lantern built around a clear bevelled glass box with an imperial bronze metal frame and a copper-toned reflector plate behind the single E27 bulb fitting. The lantern projects 152mm from the wall, wide enough to give the bevelled glass panels clearance to catch light from the bulb and scatter it across an entrance porch or doorway.

Designed for mounting beside front doors, garage doors and covered porch areas, the Byron is IP44-rated for weather protection against rain from any angle and solid object ingress down to 1mm. This makes it suitable for locations with overhead shelter rather than fully exposed wall positions. The bevelled glass edges act as weak prisms, softening the edge of the light pool on the ground and reducing harsh shadows. The copper reflector behind the bulb redirects light forward through the glass rather than letting it spill into the back box, increasing usable light output by approximately 20-30% compared to a non-reflectorised fitting.
