Description

Across our Butterflies range we stock two sizes, Mini and Medium, and here we offer the Mini in Nuance Mist. It is a coat hook built from two open wooden wings that meet at a small block on the wall, forming a shallow V. That shape gives you two arms to hang from rather than a single peg or a rail, so a coat and a scarf, or a bag and a lead, each find their own place. We like it because it reads as a small piece of wall decoration when nothing hangs on it, and it earns its keep the moment you reach for it.

The Mini measures 17cm wide, 8.5cm high and just 3.3cm deep, so it sits close to the wall and suits a hallway, the back of a door or a spot beside the bed where a fuller fitting would crowd the space. It is made from MDF paired with steel, which keeps the wings light to the eye while the fixing stays firm. The Nuance Mist colour is a soft, muted tone that settles against painted plaster and pale timber without shouting, and it works as happily on its own as it does in a row of two or three along a wall.

Assembly takes around 10 minutes and we include a short video to walk you through it, so you can have it up and holding weight the same afternoon. Fit it near a mirror in the entrance, above a bench in the boot room, or over a desk to keep headphones and a tote off the surface. This is an indoor fitting, so we would keep it to hallways and rooms rather than any covered outdoor spot. If you want a little more reach, the Medium in the same range gives you the same wing shape at a larger scale.
