Description

Made from MDF paired with steel fixings, our Butterflies Dual Coat Hook is a small piece of wall hardware that earns its keep. The design reads as two open wooden wings meeting at a small block against the wall, forming a gentle V rather than a single peg or a straight rail. We chose that shape because it gives you two hanging points close together, so a coat and a scarf, or a bag and a hat, each find their own place. In this Medium size it measures 11.3cm tall, 22.6cm wide and 12.2cm deep, a footprint that suits a hallway, a bedroom door or the back of a utility room without crowding the wall.

The colour here is Forest Green, a deep, settled shade that we like against pale plaster, warm oak floors and darker painted walls alike. It sits happily beside natural wood tones and picks up on the greens people bring indoors through plants and foliage. Because the two wings angle outward from the central block, coats hang clear of one another and of the wall itself, which keeps damp jackets from pressing against your paintwork. We think of it as a considered little object that does a plain job well, and its green finish means it registers as part of the room rather than disappearing into it.
