Description

The Brockhurst chandelier layers the range's handmade textured glass panels into two tiers, so rows of glass cascade one above the other for a fuller, sculptural outline. Each panel refracts the light softly, and together the tiers form a luminous centrepiece. The two tiers measure 570mm and 490mm across, and the fitting takes five E14 lamps. It hangs from a height-adjustable chain finished with a grey braided fabric flex.

The tiered shape is made for rooms with height to fill, such as a dining room over a table, an entrance hall or a landing above a stairwell. Seen from below, the layered glass reads as a warm focal point, while the soft, refracted light keeps the room comfortable. It suits homes that want the artisan Venetian look in a larger, more dramatic form than the single-tier pendant. The two tiers give it more depth than a flat ring, so it fills the vertical space in a tall room.

The metalwork is finished in warm brushed aged brass plate and the panels are handmade, so slight variation between them is expected. The grey braided cable finishes the drop, which adjusts from 620mm to 1985mm on a 1.5 metre chain. It is a Class 2 double insulated fitting and does not need an earth at the fitting, and the IP20 rating keeps it to dry indoor rooms. At around 11.3kg it is weighty, so fix it to a sound ceiling. It is dimmable with a compatible trailing edge dimmer and dimmable E14 filament lamps. Wipe the glass and brass with a dry, soft cloth. Single-tier three and five-light pendants complete the range.
