Description

This arched floor lamp curves up and over on a polished bright nickel stem, carrying an oversized vintage white faux silk shade out over the floor. The arch design lets the shade hang above a sofa or a chair while the base sits to one side, so it lights a seat from above without a table. It stands 1520mm tall with a 665mm reach, and the large shade gives a soft, wide pool of light. It takes a single E27 bulb up to 10W and works with an E27 LED lamp.

The sweeping arch makes it a natural fit over a reading chair, a sofa or a corner seat, where an overhanging light is more useful than a straight-standing one. Its polished nickel and oversized shade give it a modern look with a vintage note, at home in both contemporary and more traditional rooms. Because the shade reaches out over the floor, place it so the arm clears your seating, and it will light the spot below cleanly. At 8.1kg the base counterweights the arch, so the overhanging shade stays put above your chosen seat.

The stem is polished bright nickel plate and the shade is an oversized vintage white faux silk with a matching lining. An in-line foot switch on the two metre grey fabric flex keeps control easy to reach. Wipe the metal with a soft, dry cloth and dust the shade lightly to keep it fresh.
