This is a modern-classic louvered outdoor wall light in striking polished stainless steel, with a clear glass shade that shows off a filament bulb. The louvered styling gives it a smart, architectural look, and the polished steel brings a clean, bright finish that stands up well outdoors. It is a compact, sturdy fitting at 250mm tall and 220mm wide, projecting 260mm from the wall. Rated IP44 for exterior use, it takes a single E27 Edison screw bulb up to 40W, so it makes a good home for a decorative filament LED lamp behind the clear glass.

The Brockdon suits front and back doors, porches, garden walls and the sides of outbuildings, giving a clean, modern-classic light that works with a range of homes. The polished stainless steel and louvered shape look smart on rendered, brick and stone walls, and the clear glass makes the most of a filament lamp for a warm, welcoming glow by a doorway. Fit one to mark an entrance, or a pair either side of a door for balanced, even light. Without a sensor, it gives you simple, switched lighting you control yourself.

The body is polished stainless steel with a clear glass shade, giving a bright, hard-wearing finish for outdoor use. It is wired as an earthed Class 1 fitting and rated IP44, which protects it against splashing water so it is safe for exterior walls. To care for it, switch off and let the fitting cool, then wipe the stainless steel and glass with a soft, damp cloth and dry to keep them clear. We would fit an E27 LED filament lamp to make the most of the clear glass shade and the louvered styling.

Does it have a sensor?

No. It is a switched light without a PIR sensor, so you control it yourself. For an automatic option, we stock a matching louvered light with a built-in PIR.

How do I keep it clean?

Switch off and let the fitting cool, then wipe the polished stainless steel and clear glass with a soft, damp cloth and dry to prevent water marks.
