Description

The Brillia Trimless Track Middle Power Input is a 203mm white connector for 3-phase track lighting systems, providing mains power entry at any point along a track run with integrated 1-10V dimming control. The unit allows a track system to be powered from a central position rather than only at the end, useful in long runs or when the track crosses a structural beam where cable routing from the end is impractical.

Designed for commercial retail, gallery, office and residential track installations, the power input sits flush within the track profile with no visible housing or cover plate below the track line. The trimless design means the unit disappears into the track channel when installed, maintaining a continuous white finish across the ceiling. The 1-10V dimming interface connects to compatible control systems, allowing all track-mounted fittings downstream to be dimmed from a single controller.

The white plastic housing measures 203mm long by 37mm wide by 34mm high, fitting standard Ideal Lux 3-phase track profiles. The IP20 rating makes it suitable for dry interior environments only. Installation requires connection to mains supply within the ceiling void and clipping into the track channel, with all wiring concealed above the ceiling line once fitted.

Frequently Asked

What is a middle power input used for?

A middle power input allows mains power to enter a track lighting system at any point along the track run, rather than only at the end. This is useful in long installations, or when the track crosses a structural element that prevents cable routing from the end of the track.

Is this compatible with all track systems?

No. The Brillia middle power input is designed specifically for Ideal Lux 3-phase track profiles. It will not fit track from other manufacturers or different track standards.

What does 1-10V dimming mean?

1-10V is a low-voltage dimming protocol where a separate control wire carries a 1-10V signal to the power input. All compatible track-mounted fittings downstream dim in response to this signal. A separate 1-10V dimmer controller is required.

Can this be installed in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the unit is suitable for dry interior environments only. It is not rated for use in bathrooms, kitchens with high moisture, or outdoor installations.
