Description

The Brillia is a 3m adjustable suspension cable kit designed for hanging pendant lights at variable heights. The kit includes a steel wire suspension cable, white powder-coated metal fittings (barrel grip, cord lock, grub screw tensioner), a white wall bracket, and fixing screw. The ceiling rose is not included and must be purchased separately or may already be present on the existing ceiling installation.

Intended for installations where the pendant light needs to be suspended lower than a standard flex drop allows, or where ceiling height varies across the room. The adjustable cable runs through a barrel grip that locks at the desired height using a grub screw tensioner, allowing the pendant to be raised or lowered after initial installation without re-wiring. The 3m cable length accommodates ceiling heights from 2.4m up to approximately 5m depending on the pendant size and desired drop.

The steel wire core provides tensile strength for heavier decorative pendants, while the white powder-coated metal fittings blend into white or light-coloured ceilings. The wall bracket can be surface-mounted to a ceiling joist or plasterboard anchor, and the barrel grip screws onto the pendant's threaded suspension rod or hook fitting. The 15mm diameter barrel fits most standard pendant suspension systems from Ideal Lux and other European manufacturers.

Does this kit include a ceiling rose?

No. The ceiling rose must be purchased separately or may already be present on your existing ceiling installation. The kit includes the suspension cable, fittings, wall bracket and fixing screw only.

What weight can the cable support?

The steel wire core is rated to support most decorative pendant lights. For specific weight limits, consult the Specification tab or contact us with details of the pendant you intend to hang.

Can the height be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The grub screw tensioner on the barrel grip allows the cable to be loosened, the pendant raised or lowered, and the cable re-locked without disconnecting the electrical supply or removing the fitting from the ceiling.

What pendants is this compatible with?

The 15mm barrel grip fits most standard pendant suspension systems from Ideal Lux and other European manufacturers that use a threaded rod or hook fitting. Confirm the thread size of your pendant before ordering.
