Brillia 3-Phase Trimless Track 3m Surface-Mounted - Black

The Brillia is a 3m surface-mounted track lighting rail built from powder-coated aluminium in a matt black finish, designed to carry 3-phase track lighting heads across multiple circuits. The trimless profile measures 35mm in projection from the ceiling and runs a concealed 3-phase conductor system along its 3000mm length, allowing individual track heads to be positioned and powered from any of the three circuits without additional wiring.

Designed for retail spaces, galleries, offices and open-plan residential interiors where flexible accent lighting is needed, the track mounts directly to ceiling joists or solid substrates via fixing points spaced at 500mm intervals along the rail. The 3-phase system allows three separate groups of track heads to be controlled independently, so one circuit can illuminate a product display, another can light an artwork wall, and a third can provide general ambient fill, all from the same track run.

The matt black powder-coat finish absorbs ceiling reflections and integrates cleanly into dark ceilings or contrasts against white plasterwork depending on the interior scheme. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments only. Track heads compatible with this Brillia rail include Ideal Lux's own range of track spotlights plus any third-party track heads designed for 3-phase systems with matching conductor spacing.

Each 3m section can be joined end-to-end using Ideal Lux track connectors (sold separately) to create longer runs, or cut to shorter lengths on-site if a ceiling span requires less than the full 3000mm. The trimless profile means the track sits flush against the ceiling without visible mounting clips or flanges once installed.

What does 3-phase mean on a track lighting system?

A 3-phase track carries three separate electrical circuits along the same rail, allowing individual track heads to be assigned to different circuits and controlled independently. This lets you switch or dim groups of lights separately without running multiple tracks.

Can this track be cut to length?

Yes. The 3000mm rail can be cut on-site to fit shorter ceiling spans. Cut sections should have the conductor ends properly terminated and the cut edge sealed or capped to maintain safety and appearance.

What track heads are compatible?

Any track spotlight designed for 3-phase systems with matching conductor spacing will fit. Ideal Lux produces a range of compatible track heads, and many third-party manufacturers also make compatible fittings.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

No. The IP20 rating means the track is suitable only for dry indoor environments. It has no protection against moisture ingress and should not be used in bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or any outdoor location.
