Brillia-2 3-Phase Surface-Mounted Track 1m - Black

The Brillia-2 is a 1m black aluminium surface-mounted track designed for 3-phase track lighting systems, manufactured by Ideal Lux in Italy. The track accepts standard 3-phase track heads and spotlights (sold separately), allowing multiple lighting fixtures to be positioned and repositioned along its 1000mm length without re-wiring. The track itself houses three independent electrical circuits, enabling separate control of different zones or fixture groups on the same run.

Designed for ceiling or wall mounting in retail, gallery, office and residential spaces, the track fixes directly to the surface using the integral mounting points on the back of the aluminium profile. The 35mm projection from the ceiling gives a low-profile appearance that works in rooms with lower ceiling heights where recessed tracks would be impractical. The IP20 rating suits dry indoor environments including living rooms, kitchens, corridors and showrooms.

The black powder-coated aluminium profile provides a matte finish that reduces reflections under strong daylight and pairs with both warm and cool interior palettes. The trim design creates a clean edge where the track meets the ceiling, concealing the electrical contacts and giving a more finished appearance than exposed conductor tracks. Multiple 1m sections can be connected end-to-end using Ideal Lux's linking connectors (sold separately) to create longer continuous runs.

What track heads and spotlights are compatible?

The Brillia-2 accepts standard 3-phase track heads and spotlights with the appropriate connector type. Ideal Lux manufactures a range of compatible track heads, and most major lighting manufacturers produce 3-phase track fixtures that will fit this system. Check the track head specification before purchasing to confirm 3-phase compatibility.

How is the track mounted?

The track is surface-mounted directly to the ceiling or wall using screws through the integral mounting points on the back of the aluminium profile. The installation requires mains-voltage wiring to be terminated into the track's power feed point, typically at one end of the run. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Can multiple tracks be joined together?

Yes. Multiple 1m sections can be connected end-to-end using Ideal Lux linking connectors (sold separately) to create continuous runs longer than 1m. Each linked section maintains the three independent circuits throughout the entire run.

What does the 3-phase system allow?

The three independent electrical circuits within the track allow different groups of fixtures to be controlled separately. For example, in a retail space you could run ambient lighting on circuit 1, accent lighting on circuit 2, and task lighting on circuit 3, each switched independently.
